Melissa Kay Hummingbird

Melissa Kay (Sagebark) Hummingbird AKA "Missy", 56 of Anadarko, OK grew her heavenly wings and made her journey to be with the Lord on June 18, 2024. On January 23, 1968, Missy was born to Wesley Dean Sageback Sr. and Kathleen (Cozad) Pewenofkit in Clinton, OK.

She was a proud member of the Kiowa tribe and of Arapaho descent. Missy was an avid fan of the Oklahoma Sooners. She loved being around family and friends, making everyone smile and laugh. She enjoyed many types of music, and loved watching her favorite TV show, "Little House on the Prairie." Missy had a love for cooking, spending time with her grandchildren, and going on evening rides. Those who knew and loved Missy will miss her vivacious personality and caring heart.
