Melba June Pace, 78, of Hobart, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, May 2nd, 2016 in Hobart, Oklahoma. She was born February 9th, 1938 in Bells, Texas to Ira and Bessie (Duncan) Taylor. Melba was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was married to and widowed to Marvin Pace of Savoy, TX. Melba worked as a CNA and CMA for 35 years at Mullican Care Center in Savoy, Texas.
Melba loved her job and the families she worked with at Mullicans where she later retired from.. Melba then moved to Hobart, Oklahoma to be closer to her children and grandchildren.
Melba became a resident of Hobart Nursing Center 2 years ago where she kept the staff on their toes the entire time. Melba loved the family she made during her time at Hobart Nursing Center and cherished the times she had with them.
Melba, her baby sister Georgia Bellows, niece Susie Smith, and other family members traveled all over to see various sites. If you knew her you would know that Graceland was by far her favorite adventure. Melba was one of Elvis's biggest fans for as long as her family can remember.
Melba was blessed with 3 children, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

As well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ira and Bessie (Duncan) Taylor, one sister, Lettie Faye Cason, granddaughter Kimberlynn Hill, two nieces, Susie Bellows Smith and Debbie Johnson Billings.

Visitation 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, May 5, 2016
Funeral Services: 10:00a.m., Friday, May 6, 2016
Ray and Martha's Chapel, Hobart, OK
Officiating: Rev. Billy Loller
Burial to follow in the Hobart Rose Cemetery, Hobart, OK under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart.
