Melanie Diane Post

Melanie Diane Post, 59, passed away July 27, 2021, in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born April 5, 1962, to Lloyd Post and Dorothy (East) Pierce in Hinton, OK.
Melanie lived in Lawton since 1984. She had one wonderful son, Mark, who was the love of her life. For 31 years she worked for Lawton Public Schools, first as a Speech Therapist then as a Psychometrist. Melanie enjoyed teaching young children. She was fluent in sign language, and used her ability to communicate with deaf church members. She loved the Lord, working in the church, and her family and friends. She was a loyal member of the Cameron Baptist Church, Lawton, OK
Preceded in death by her: parents, Carl and Dorothy Pierce.

Son: Mark Post, Lawton, OK
Sister: Malissia Guthrie and husband Brian, Blanchard, OK
Niece and Nephew: Courtney Harrison, Tyler Harrison and family.
Melanie left behind a host of family and friends that will one day see her again in Heaven.
