Mary Elaine Smith

Mary Elaine Smith, 55, of Hobart Oklahoma died Monday September 19, 2011. She was born in Gorman, Texas, the youngest daughter of Marvin and Flossie McFall's eight children.

Mrs. Smith owned and operated a successful catering business, Sooner Catering, as well as was the one time owner of the Big-a-Burger in Sentinel Oklahoma. Mrs. Smith was very active in online organizations where her presence and leadership was inspirational to all the members she touched and assisted. Mary married Victor Smith on April 5, 1973 in Ridgeland, South Carolina.

She leaves her beloved husband Victor Smith, Jr. of Hobart; A daughter, Candida Smith, and grand-daughter, Jamie Slaton of Hobart, A son Victor Smith Jr., daughter in-law Sasha Smith, grandson Victor Smith III, granddaughter Cameron Smith, and a great grandson Abian Smith of Hobart. Son Steven Smith, daughter in-law Jodie Smith of Burns Flat. She also leaves a sister Leta Smith of Oklahoma City, Sister Margie Hall of Sentinel, and a brother Donnie Ray McFall of Gulfport Mississippi, and Brother Richard McFall of Dallas Texas.

She was predeceased in death by her father, Marvin Guy McFall, her mother, Flossie McFall, grandmother, Berta McFall. She was also preceedede in death by brother Joe Wiley McFall and brother Jimmy Dean McFall, as well as her brother in- law Julian "Smitty" Smith.

The family will be greet friends 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2011.


Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2011 at Calvary Life Assembly of God Church in Hobart with the Rev. Fitzgerald presiding.

Arrangements are being handled by the Ray and Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart.
