Mary Parr, 84, a former longtime Hobart resident, passed away at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City, OK on Saturday, December 11th, 2010. She was born March 6, 1926 in Hobart, OK to Thomas & Fannie Taylor Campbell. Mary graduated from Hobart High School. She married Carl Parr on January 26, 1946 and they lived many years on the family farm south of Gotebo before retiring and moving to Hobart. Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hobart. She enjoyed playing bridge with friends and spending time with her family. Mary was residing at Quail Ridge Assisted Living in Oklahoma City and enjoyed the many activities there.

one grandson, Toby Cannon, Yukon, OK
one granddaughter, Alyssa Cannon, Yukon, OK
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl in 2003, daughter Gloria Parr in 2003, parents, two sisters, Theresa Langford and Margaret Chappelear; two brothers, David Campbell and Thomas Campbell and an infant brother.
