Mary Martha (Brewer) Northrip, 78 of Hobart, OK deceased on January 28, 2015 in Hobart, OK. She was born on November 28, 1936 in Oklahoma City, OK to Albert Nelson Brewer and Vera Marie (Thomas) Brewer Stanton. She graduated from Enid High School in 1954. She married the love of her life, Jimmie D. Northrip, Sr. on December 31, 1955 in Enid, OK. She graduated from the Oklahoma General Hospital School of Nursing in 1962 as a registered nurse. She worked at Elkview General Hospital from 1967 to 1987 with most of those years as head surgical nurse. She went to work for the Oklahoma Department of Health and Human Services until she retired in 1997. Martha was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hobart and enjoyed singing in the choir. She loved cooking fried chicken for the group. She worked on her family's genealogy and traveled to London, England, and tracked her oldest relative to John Brewer, I born in 1565.
She is survived by four children, Mike Northrip and wife Paula of Keller, TX, Scott Northrip and wife Brenda of Hobart, OK, Marsha Boling of Darrington, WA, and Jimmy, Jr. and wife Charolette of Midwest City, OK. Grandchildren: Michael Northrip, Jr., Brittany Northrip, Matthew Northrip, Tommy Northrip and wife Heather, Patrick Northrip and wife Courtney, Garret Boling, Morgan Boling, Craig Boling, Jessica Boling, Becca Crossett and husband John, Trey Northrip, Brooke Northrip, and Jordan Northrip. Great grandchildren: Trae Northrip, Ty Northrip, Everleigh Crossett, and Julian Esparza. A bother-in-law Jack Northrip and wife Velta of Moore, OK, a sister-in-law Ruth Ann McKinney of Pampa, TX, and step-brother Carl Joe Stanton, Chicago, IL, and many other family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, in-laws Orlie & Mary Marshall and Jimmy McKinney and a step-father, Ernest Stanton.
