Mary Ivy

Mary Ann Ivy, 68, of Cordell, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on May 29th, 2020. She was born on August 4th, 1951 to James and Pauline (Burns) Rutherford in Cordell, Oklahoma. Mary grew up and attended school in Cordell, graduating from Cordell High School in 1969. She met the love of her life Robert Ivy and they married in the First Baptist Church in Cordell on September 7, 1976, to this union was born four children: Carla, Murlene, Jacob and Kristy. Mary worked as a cook at the school for a couple years and then decided to clean homes for people and did so for the past fifteen years. She also ironed clothes for a living. Mary loved to go hunting with her husband. She loved being with her family. Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her husband, Robert.
