Mary Julian Haunpo

Mary Haunpo, 74, of Anadarko, OK, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in Lawton OK. She was born on June 9, 1948, in Lawton, OK to Rudolph Tartsah Sr. and Vivian Kaulaity Tartsah.
She was a proud member of the Kiowa Tribe and loving mother and wife.
She married James Haunpo, Sr. on December 9, 1966 and have been happily married since.
She loved the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, and of course OU. She loved going to church and being with her grandkids and great grandbabies. She loved the outdoors and liked to work around her yard and cook and clean before her illness. She loved to shop at Goodwill. And loved to order off of the Home Shopping network. And she also loved the Lord.
She retired as a dorm matron from Riverside Indian school in 1996. Also worked for the Anadarko public schools as a teachers assistant.
Mary is survived by her husband, James Haunpo, Sr. of the home, Anadarko, OK.

Numerous grandkids: Josiah, Benny, April, Amber, Lindsey, Trey, Tristen, RJ , Zachary, Brandon, Jesse, Josh, Alex, David, Nana, Jamie.
Numerous great grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was proceeded in death by: her father and mother; brothers, CB Tartsah and Donald Tartsah; niece, Dionna Tartsah; baby boy, Darrick Wayne Haunpo.
