Mary Kathryn Allen

Mary Kathryn Allen, 80, of Binger, Oklahoma passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 2nd, 2019. She was born on September 4th, 1938 to Marcus Leon and Jennie Lola (Lankford) Gallaway in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Mary grew up and attended school in Anadarko and graduated from Anadarko High School in 1956. She married the love of her life William Dale Allen on November 15, 1957 in Anadarko, Oklahoma and to this union was born their only child, Chris Allen who they loved more than life itself. Mary worked as a Meter Reader and then she worked in the Billing Office for the City of Anadarko before becoming the Executive Director for the Anadarko Housing Authority; retiring after more than twenty-five years as the Executive Director. During slow times she was an avid reader and loved to spend time at the public library with her sister, she also loved playing dominoes. Mary was a member of the Gracemont First Baptist Church in Gracemont, Oklahoma, and she briefly attended Bethel Baptist Church while living in Anadarko. Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Virginia Allen, Idaho
Several nieces, nephews and extended cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by: parents: Marcus & Jennie Gallaway and husband: William Dale Allen, brother-in-law: Buster Allen, stepfather: William Howard Axton and stepbrother: Howard Axton Jr.

The family will be present at the funeral home on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 6:00pm-8:00pm to receive guests.
