Martha Louise Wells

Martha Louise Wells was called to join her Lord on February 14, 2024. She was born on October 27, 1955 in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Her parents were Ernest and Mickey (Eichor) Wells. Martha attended school in Hobart, OK., graduated from Hobart High School in 1973, and earned a degree from Southwest Oklahoma State University. She returned to Hobart to lovingly care for both her ailing mother and aging grandmother. An avid OU sports fan, Martha could recite almost any team player or statistic. A private and humble person, she compassionately served others in a career with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. Martha often said she was inspired into a career of service by the example of her mother, who taught in the Hobart Head Start Program for many years. Martha was proceeded in death by: her father and mother, Mickey and Ernest Wells. Her grandparents, Martha and Arthur "Ike" Eichor. And, her brother David Wells. She is survived by: Her brother Mike Wells and his wife Starre in Harrah, OK. Niece Michelle Guillory and her family in Arizona. . Nephew Shanan Woodrum and his family in North Carolina. And niece Amanda Woodrum in Ohio. Martha was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church in Hobart.
