Martha Helen Kaulaity

Funeral Services for Martha Helen Kaulaity, 70, will be held Friday, April 12, 2019 at 11:00 at the Carnegie First Baptist Church. A wake service will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 7:00 at Ray & Martha's Funeral Chapel in Carnegie. Donnie Ahhaitty will be officiating the services.

Martha H. Kaulaity was born August 19, 1948 in Lawton, Ok. and passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 6, 2019--with family by her side. She was born to Adam Kaulaity, Sr. and Helen Redhorn Kaulaity.

She attended Mtn. View Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1967. She then furthered her education at Haskell Institute and completed the two year business program. She accepted a position in Washington DC with the U.S. Department of State where she worked forty-five years which provided her the opportunity to travel extensively to numerous foreign countries, as a Secretary to General Counsel.

She was elected to serve as Kiowa Tribal Princess in 1967. She enjoyed and loved her family and friends dearly. After her retirement she enjoyed attending tribal gatherings. She loved singing behind the drum as a chorus lady. She also loved her cats. She enjoyed playing at the casino.

Survivors: Daughter Deana Steger, son-in-law, Jay. Grandsons Jordan and Justin, all of Ft. Worth, Texas.
Five brothers: Cliff and wife Liz Reeder, Alvin, Adam Jr., Jesse and wife Marlinda, & George.
Six Sisters: Alpha, Sallie, Nema, Valerie, Cherie, Carol & husband Tim Vetter. She also has numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, &
many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her son James Lawrence Kaulaity Bluestone, her parents, her sisters, Janice Kaulaity and Lenora Catterson, and brother Donald Lonewolf, paternal grandparents Joe & Sallie Tonekeahbo Kaulaity, maternal grandparents Jesse & Clara Paddlety Redhorn Quoinquodle.

Burial will be at Samone Tribal Cemetery, Carnegie, Oklahoma
