Marshall Briggs

Marshall Clarence Briggs, 85, of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away March 12, 2018. He was born on April 25, 1932 in Florida Mountain, Massachusetts to Marshall and Harriet (Bliss) Briggs. He married Lorraine Masson on July 3, 1953 in Clarksburg, Massachusetts. Marshall served in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War Veteran. He was a member of the VFW of Hobart. Marshall drove cross country for Yellow Freight and other freight liners before retiring after 47 years in 2006.

He is survived by his wife Lorraine of the home,
2 sons: Marshall Briggs Jr., Anza, California,
David Briggs, California,
1 daughter, April Bays and husband Tim of Ironton, Ohio,
8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren,
1 brother Don Briggs and wife Rosemary, Evansville, Indiana,
1 sister, Carol Reese and husband Donald, North Adams, Massachusetts,

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Bryant Briggs, one daughter Donna Graham, and one grandson William Bays.
