Marland "Magic" Quoetone, 60, was born July 22,1961 to Nona Quoetone Kopepassah. He graduated Mountain View-Gotebo High School in 1981. During his high school years, he was a star basketball, baseball, and football player. Earning several awards including All-Conference, All Conference honorable mention 2nd base, All-Star basketball team, football king, and basketball junior attendant. Marland also received the Ruby Davis Award, the highest school award one can receive and had the privilege to have their name on the walls of MVG High School. He earned his nickname "Magic" after Magic Johnson. He went on to work at Yoast Furniture in Lawton, Oklahoma for several years. Marland was a proud member of the Kiowa Tribe. He loved sports. Marland was an avid Oklahoma Sooner and Oklahoma City Thunder fan. "Magic" will be missed immensely by all who knew and loved him. Love you and going to miss you Brother Man!

Dennis Kopepassah and spouse, Jackie Bigbow, Carnegie, OK.
Sister: Sophia Kopepassah Taptto and spouse, Peter, Lawton, OK.
Special nieces: Sara, Shawna, and Julie.
As well as several other special nieces and nephews.
Marland is preceded in death by his mother, Nona Mae Quoetone Kopepassah; stepfather, Lelbert" Spud" Kopepassah SR; brothers, Lelbert "Ears" Kopepassah Jr. and Elton "EL" Quoetone; special nephew Scott Kopepassah; maternal grandparents, Horace and Mable Longhorn Quoetone; aunts, Agnes Quoetone, Blossom Quoetone and Rita Gaddy; uncles, Alfred Jack Quoetone and Landrum Rice "Burley" Quoetone.
