She was a member of the Kiowa War Mothers, Chapter 18 and the Carnegie Victory Club and the Kiowa Kickers Handgame Team. She was the Kiowa Warrior Descendents Princess in her teens.
She loved all her nieces and nephews very much. They loved her and called her Mama May-lay.
