There was nothing she couldn't do when she set her mind to it. Sue especially enjoyed working with her husband, daughters, grandkids, and other family members at the elevator.
Sue was the Chamber of Commerce president in 1995. She started the Canna Festival and Carnegie Beautification. Sue was given the B.W. Jolly Citizenship Award in 1986, even receiving the Honorary B.W. Jolly Award just a few years later in 1991. In 1993, Sue was awarded Yard of the Year.
