Marian Elese Steckman

Elese Steckman, 92, of Carnegie, OK, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at the Carnegie Nursing Home. She was born March 27th, 1922, to Cortis and Jessie (Jones) Sloan in Mountain View, OK. Elese was united in marriage to Floyd Steckman March 03, 1939, who preceded her in death January 25, 2010. Elese was a cook at Cedar Dale School as well as other schools. She was also self employed for many years as well. Elese loved to fish and be with family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking and making things.

Survivors include special friend like a son, Jim Gage, Carnegie, OK
one sister-in-law, Veronica Sloan, Bethany, OK
numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Floyd, eight brothers, Ed, Charles, Orvil, Clyde, Kennith, Bobby, twin infant boys, two sisters, Minta Mosley and Wanda McAnaw and several nieces and nephews.
