Lula B. Ross, 77, of Burns Flat, Oklahoma left this worldly life Monday, July 19, 2021 surrounded by her family that loved and cherished her in every way possible.
She was born December 31, 1943 in Hollis, Oklahoma to Tracy and Lena (Thompson) Cox.
Lula was born on the family farm and loved all animals, especially dogs, cats, birds and a childhood pet goat. Lula would meet the love of her young life through her sister Dorothy and a mutual friend and married that man, our father, Bobby on June 13, 1959, and to this union were born seven adoring children. She loved many things especially flowers, gardening and church. She attended the First Baptist Church of Burns Flat, Oklahoma. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School and the many other activities connected to the church. She worked many years as a cook for the Burns Flat school system. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Survivors include seven children: Randall Ross and wife Katie of Burns Flat, Kimberly Ross Cross and husband Phillip of Olathe, KS, Bobby Ross of Burns Flat, Michael Ross and wife Angela of Dill City, Amanda Ross Johnson and husband Jeremy of Kansas City, KS, William Ross of Edmond, OK, Jason Ross and wife Cheryl of Yukon, OK. Eleven Grandchildren: Joseph Ross of Mustang, OK, Ronie Cross of Stilwell, KS, Christopher Cross of Olathe, KS, Machayla and Nathan Ross of Dill City, OK, Caitlyn and Emily Ross of Wesley Chapel, FL, Jason Derek Ross of Hinton, OK, Ruthie Ross of Edmond, OK, Coda Myers of Burns Flat, OK, Seth Ross of Yukon, OK. Four Great Grandchildren: Gabriel Cross and Emmory Briley of Stilwell, KS, Hayden Ralston and Hunter Cross of Olathe, KS. Numerous other family members and friends.
Preceded in death by husband: Bobby C. Ross, child: infant baby girl, Parents: Tracy and Lena Cox, Brother: John Cox, and Sister: Dorothy Wilson
