Ludene Lowry of Cordell, was born July 26th, 1938, in Mayfield, Oklahoma, to Jack and Donia (Sweet) Hall. She passed away Monday, October 31st, at the age of 78. Ludene was raised in Mayfield, and graduated from Sweetwater High School. She married Billy Gene Lowry on March 15, 1956, in Wheeler, Texas. Ludene was a nurse at the Cordell Memorial Hospital until her retirement. She loved her family and enjoyed watching her grandchildren and all their activities, especially auto racing. Ludene loved her dog Molly, that was with her wherever she went. Molly was her baby and constant companion. Ludene was always just a phone call away to listen. She was a giver to all and wanted to see everyone do well in life. Ludene was a member of the New Beginnings Assembly of God Church. Her contagious smile and loving nature will be missed by all who knew her.
Ludene is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill Lowry in 2005, daughter Ronda Cannon in 2008 and brother Johnny Hall in 2011 of Sayre.
Ludene is survived by daughter Becky Bookout and husband Mark of Bessie; grandchildren Marco Aleman of Elk City; Janson Aleman of Oklahoma City; Dallas Wilson of Clinton; April Diaz of Cyril; great grandchildren Kali Aleman; Brystal Shipley; Amason Jade Aleman; Marcus Wilson; Jorge Diaz, Lexi Diaz, Zaden Diaz; her faithful dog Molly; and a host of other dear family and friends.
Services for Ludene Lowry will be held Thursday, November 3, 2016, 10:00 AM at New Beginnings Assembly of God Church with Rev Mike Southerland officiating. Services will be under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home of Cordell, Oklahoma.
