Lucille (White) Kane, 86, of Anadarko was born on Nov. 26, 1927 in Dustin, Okla., to Robert and Florence (Polson) White. She passed from this life on Monday, Sept. 8 at her home.
Lucille attended school in Calvin, Okla., until her family moved to Clinton. She worked as a hairdresser.
She and Hosey Kane were married on June 7, 1956 in Clinton. They then moved to Anadarko. Her greatest joy in her life was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her husband preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 2004, exactly 10 years to the day before hers.
Also preceeding her in death were three brothers, a sister and a brother-in-law.
Survivors include four children - Earnest Stephens and his wife, Marie, of Booneville, Mo.; Paula (Kane) Allen and her husband, Robert, of Lawton; Webster Kane and his wife, Debbie, of Duncan, and Linda (Kane) Curbow and her husband, Ron, of Nixa, Mo.; four grandchildren - Robert Brake and his wife, Earla, of Anadarko; Adra (Brake) Vance and her husband, J.J., of Anadarko; Serena Stephens of St. Louis, Mo., and Robert Sumpter of Lindsey; four great-grandchildren - Drew Vance, Marcus Brake, Austin Bowman, all of Anadarko and Ezra Vance of Houston, Texas.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12 at Steverson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Memory Lane Cemetery.
