Loyd Stubbs

Loyd Stubbs Jr., 67, of Mountain View, OK passed away Saturday, June 2nd, 2012 in Hobart, OK at Elkview General Hospital. He was born June 21, 1944 to Loyd Sr. and Donie (Kelso) Stubbs in Mountain View, OK. He attended Oney High School and graduated in 1963. Loyd was married to Carolyn Davis May 27, 1966 in Mountain View, OK. Loyd was a truck driver for many years. He also was a farmer and did wheat harvest with Otis Ledford. Loyd was a member of the Masonic Lodge and also a member of the First Baptist Church, Mountain View, OK.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Stubbs, of the home
one daughter, Kimberly Skipworth and husband, Sammy, Mountain View, OK two grandson, Dalton and Tythan Skipworth
two brothers, Dub Stubbs and wife, Shirley, Mountain View, OK
Alfred "Hootie" Stubbs, Mountain View, OK
one sister, Carolyn Frazier, Carnegie, OK


He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bill Stubbs

Funeral Services: 1:00p.m., Monday, June 4, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, Mountain View, OK
Officiating will be Rev. Brian Waddell
Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery
under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Mountain View, OK
