Loyd Virgil Davis

Loyd Davis, 68, of Mountain View, OK passed away Tuesday, June 14th, 2011 at the Carnegie Tri-County Municipal Hospital. He was born July 8th, 1942 to Troy and Margaret (McConnell) Davis in Alfalfa, OK.
Loyd graduated from Alfalfa School in 1961. He married Stella Lavene January 5, 1972 at Fort Cobb, OK.
Loyd farmed in the Alfalfa area most of his life. He operated the Carnegie Skating Rink. One of the enjoyments that Loyd loved doing was hunting. Loyd was a member of the Alfalfa Baptist Church in Alfalfa, OK.
Survivors include his wife, Stella Davis of the home

Kody Davis, Carnegie, OK
six grandchildren:
Kenneth, Korbin, Shody, Hayden, Ciara and Baylie

Delois Newton and husband Leland, Mountain View, OK
He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Darlene Rackley
Services: 10:00a.m., Friday, June 17, 2011 at the Alfalfa Baptist Church, Alfalfa, OK
Burial will follow at the Alfalfa Cemetery, Alfalfa, OK
