Louise Defay Wallace, 99, of Harrah, Oklahoma, went to her heavenly home on December 28, 2022, in Harrah, Oklahoma. Louise was born on May 2, 1923, in Mountain View, Oklahoma, to George and Bertha (Lomenck) Haxton. She graduated from Mountain View High School in 1941, shortly after she started working at the bank in Mountain View. Louise married the love of her life, Milan, on June 21, 1943, at the First Baptist Church Parsonage in Mountain View, Oklahoma. Louise had a skill for crocheting and that is what she spent most of her free time doing. Louise was the treasurer at the First Baptist Church in Mountain View for many years until the passing of her husband, Milan. Louise was a member of First Baptist Church of Mountain View and Hillside Baptist Church. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
