Louie L. Deonier

Louie Lee Deonier Sr., 88 passed away Wednesday, January 30th, 2013. He was born October 13, 1924 to John Franklin and Armedia (Samples) Deonier in a rural area near Reeds, MO. He came to Carnegie at age four, and moved to the family farm in the Cowden community a year later. Louie graduated from Cowden High School in 1943. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Wanda Kinder, on August 08, 1946 in Washita County. From this union they had two children, Louie Lee Jr., and Leanita Karol. He and his family remained on the Deonier farm for sixty years, which is now a Centennial Farm. Louie worked for the Washita County and retired in 1993. They moved to Yukon, OK in 2007 to be closer to family. In his spare time he enjoyed reading, working in his shop and playing with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Eva Sanders, Jack Deonier, John F. Deonier, Herman Deonier, Marie Young, Ruth Clarence, Clarence Deonier, Adolph Deonier, Ernest Deonier and Joe Deonier.

Funeral Services: 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 04, 2013 at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home Chapel, Carnegie
Burial will follow at Carnegie Cemetery

Family will greet friends and relatives Sunday from 2-4 p.m., at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home
