Lorraine Marguerite Briggs

Lorraine Briggs, 84, of Hobart, Oklahoma, passed away April 22, 2018. She was born on January 7, 1934 in Winooski, Vermont to Leo and Beatrice (Benoit) Masson. She married Marshall Briggs on July 3, 1953 in Clarksburg, Massachusetts. They retired to Hobart, Oklahoma in 2006 from California. She was a member of the Calvary Life Assembly of God. Lorraine especially enjoyed cooking. She loved her family dearly and will be missed.


She is survived by 2 sons: Marshall Briggs Jr., Anza, California,
David Briggs, California,
1 daughter, April Bays and husband Tim of Ironton, Ohio,
8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren,
2 brothers: Robert Masson, Hobart, Oklahoma,
Richard Mason, California,
1 sister Doris Maples, Reno, Nevada,

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marshall Briggs, one son Bryant Briggs, one daughter Donna Graham, one grandson William Bays, brother Dennis Masson, sister Theresa Cheney, and brother Kenneth Mason.

Family will greet friends on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home in Hobart, Oklahoma.
