Loretta Ree Hoffman, age 80 of Elk City, OK passed away March 20, 2017 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born June 8, 1936 in Dill City, OK to Ray & Jessie Ray (Piercey) Linn.
Throughout her life, Loretta worked primarily as a farmer but also doing laundry at the Clinton Sherman base and a seamstress at Robertson's Factory. She was a published poet, enjoyed genealogy, dancing, music and going to the casino, but her true love was with her family.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvin Hoffman; daughter, Linda Beck; 3 brothers; 1 great granddaughter; and 1 great grandson.
Survivors include her son, Charles Hoffman of Texas; daughters, Marsha Noyes and husband Buddy of Burns Flat, OK, Mary Gass Progule and husband Steven of Texas and Tammy Handrahan of Clinton, OK; 15 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; along with a host of other friends and family.
