Lorene Mccallick

Lorene Jewel McCallick, 87, of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on November 2nd, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on December 30th, 1929 to Alfred and Lillian (Melton) Simms in Sudan, Texas. She married the love of her life Joe McCallick on September 17, 1950 in Vernon, Texas. Lorene loved her job as a Caregiver and did so for many years. Lorene loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lorene was a member of the Washington Street Baptist Church. She also served as the president of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary for many years in Hobart, Oklahoma.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Grandson: Jerry Ward and his wife Kaley of Amarillo, Texas
and their children McKyna and Jordyn
Granddaughter: Christie Ward of Amarillo, Texas
and her children Micheal, Dakota, Devon, and Alex
Granddaughter: Jamie Stovall of Amarillo, Texas,
Grandson: Casey Baker of Lubbock, Texas,
Granddaughter: Alissa Jephcott and husband Nathan of Lubbock, Texas
and their children Tatum and Tyson
Grandson: Cody Glidewell and his wife Marylyn of Amarillo, Texas
and their children Bailey and Kortland
Granddaughter: Angie Smith and husband Jason of League City, Texas
and their daughter Autumn
Sister: Nancy Patrick of Haltom, Texas
Brother: Lloyd Simms of Texas,
Son-In-Law: Chris Baker, Sudan, Texas
And many great-great grandchildren.
