Lorene "Ella Faye" Bigbow Horse, of Carnegie, OK, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 12, 2018, at the age of 96. She was born in a teepee and was the youngest daughter of Able and Agnes Bigbow. Ella Faye lived in Carnegie until she married Stanley Horse and moved to Meer's, Oklahoma. She was a long-time member of the Mountain Scott Kiowa Church, where she served as a Children's Sunday School Teacher. Selflessly, she would start the church wood stove so that other members could enjoy Sunday Services and fellowship. After 29 years, Ella moved to her beloved home place of Carnegie and there she resided until her time of death. After moving to Carnegie, Ella Faye worked for the Carnegie Public School's Headstart Program. She was a faithful member of the Cedar Creek Church as a Children's Sunday School Teacher. During that time of her life she was involved in many facets of church activities that involved making frybread for large events to encouraging others. Ella Faye enjoyed family events especially those that involved spending time with all of her brothers, sisters, her children and their families. Ella Faye also loved to fellowship with the Victory Assembly of God church in Anadarko, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Kiowa Tribe and direct descendent of Bigbow. Ella Fay was one of our last "KiowaTraditional Healers" of the "Ah Thaum". A devout Christian she read her Bible every night before going to bed and was always praying. Ella loved to: Teach Tribal Language/Story Telling, Work Puzzle Word Searches, Watch Western movies, Cook, Sew Native Dresses and make Kiowa Cradle boards. She was also a lifelong member of the Tia-Piah Society of Oklahoma. Most of all, Ella Faye ran a good race and loved her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and Loved all her Brothers: Joe BigBow, Woodrow Bigbow, Nelson Bigbow, Harding Bigbow and special brother Taft Hainta. Also, her sisters, Mary Tartsah, Lucille Poolaw, Peral Kerchee and a special sister, Matildia Emhoola. Ella Faye had eight children consisting of 7 sons and one daughter:

Tony Horse and wife Crystal of Tulsa, OK

Stanley Horse, Jr - Dooley (deceased) Wife, Lanita
One daughter: Lahoma Zotigh and her husband Darin Zotigh, both of Carnegie, OK
Dear to her as her biological sons are: Lincoln Aitson, Pershing Yeahquo, Albert Horse and Bill Reedy. She leaves behind her newly born fifth generation twins, many grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends.
