Lonnie Ray Hymer

December 12, 1931 — March 21, 2022

Lonnie Ray Hymer, son of J.J. "Jack" and Rhonda (Hite) Hymer was born December 12th, 1931 in Rich Hill, MO. He attended school in Seiling, Oklahoma and graduated in 1951.

In August 2, 1952, he married June Armstrong. He enlisted in the Air Force, where they traveled and made their home in many places. Lonnie retired in 1972, and they made their home in Cordell, Oklahoma, where he worked at Clinton Sherman Fire Department from 1972 to 1985. He also worked part-time for Norman Glasscock Dodge Dealership and Walter Swell Farming. After the Fire Department closed in Burns Flat he started working for Newpark Drilling from1990 to 2010. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his Wife: June Hymer, Son: Jackie Hymer, Parents: Jack and Rhonda Hymer, and 2 Sisters.

Survivors include:

Daughters: Sandy Bartlett & husband Don, Cordell, OK
Kathy Oliver, Cordell, OK
10 Grandchildren
16 Great-Grandchildren
Numerous nieces, nephews and friends
