Lois Willis Dirickson

Lois Willis Dirickson, 94, of Alfalfa, OK passed away Monday, March 18th, 2013. She was born November 13th, 1918 to L.P and Mattie Ann (Witten) Reynolds in Alfalfa, OK. Lois graduated from Alfalfa High School. She was united in marriage to her first husband, Stewart Willis, December 23, 1937 who preceded her in death December 31, 1980. Later on she married Bill Dirickson, November 13, 1986 at Medicine Park. She was a member of the Alfalfa United Methodist Church and also Rebecca's Lodge. In Lois' younger years she enjoyed playing basketball and running track. She was successful in many adventures, including the Stewarts Lake Side Motel at Fort Cobb Lake, a Custom Harvesting business and a local Dairy and Farm operation. Lois had a true love for nature with a passion for birds and flowers. She had a general love for life and family that started with a strong foundation in her Christian beliefs. Her faith and belief in God gave her the strength to endure the troubling times and appreciate the blessings that she was given.


Survivors include her husband, Bill Dirickson, of the home

three grandsons, Mike Howell, Cedar Park, TX
Monty Howell and wife, Anice, Coweta, OK
Scott Smith and wife, Catherine, San Antonio, TX
granddaughter, Deb Morris and husband, Rick, Weatherford, OK
four great grandchildren, Monty Howell Jr., Paden Morris, Mindy Howell, Dacey Morris
son-in-law, Dale Smith, San Antonio, TX
daughter-in-law, Jennifer Brewster and husband, Gary, Fort Cobb, OK

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Stewart Willis, son, Wesley Willis, one daughter, Ronda Smith and one great grandchild.

Funeral Services: 11:00a.m., Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church, Alfalfa, OK.
Burial will follow at the Alfalfa Cemetery
under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie
