Lodema "Okie Hunter" Riddle

LoDema (Okie Hunter) Riddle, 62, passed away September 20, 2022, in Anadarko, OK. She was born on June 14, 1960, in Lawton, OK to James and Trina Lou (Ware) Hunter.

LoDema was a proud member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma and descendant of the Delaware Nation and Caddo Nation of Oklahoma. She grew up in the Caddo County area. Okie attended and graduated from Riverside Indian School Anadarko, OK. She married Billy Odell Johnson. They were married for 32 years. They were blessed with 2 sons, Billy and Jeremy.

She worked as a CNA-Healthcare at Silver Crest Nursing Home and Galilean Center in Anadarko, OK. LoDema then went to work as a cook for Riverside Indian School and retired after 10 years. She loved all her students she served, She loved cruising the roads of OK, shopping, going to the Casino, eating snow cones, and worshipping her Lord at the Gospel Lighthouse in Anadarko, OK. LoDema loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She shared the gospel, encouragement, joked and also gave scolding out when needed. She would always greet you with a smile and a "Hey baby". Okie had many friends and knew someone everywhere she went. She was always a loving friend to many and willing to help out anyway she could. She was a true blessing to all.

She was preceded in death by her: husband, Joe Riddle; parents, James and Trina Hunter; brothers, Johnny Hunter and Michael Ware
