Linda Jean Owings, 74, Anadarko, OK passed away October 31, 2021. She was born December 8, 1946, in Houston, TX to Willard and Alma Jean (Wilkenson) Ross.
Linda graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1965 and attended college at USAO on a vocal scholarship. Linda married Melvin Owings May 4, 1990, Anadarko, OK. She and Melvin raised 4 sons, John, Paul, Darrell, and Harold (deceased). They were the love of her life. Linda was employed with Apex, Inc for 17 years as a Case manager. She loved working with the special needs adults and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed volunteering as boy scout leader, gardening, camping, and singing.
Linda is preceded in death by her: parents, Willard and Alma Ross; son, Harold Owings, Jr

Sons: John and wife, Veronica Owings, Anadarko, OK
Paul Owings, Anadarko, OK
Darrell Owings, Anadarko, OK
Grandchildren: Abigail, Kean, and Liam Owings
Brother: Steve and wife, Edwina Ross, CT
Sister-in-law: Carol Owings, Anadarko, OK
Numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends
