Linda Kay Oliphant, 58, of Carnegie, Oklahoma, passed away at home in Carnegie on January 12, 2024. She was born on August 5, 1965, to Arson and Haughty (Davis) Lucus in Carnegie, Oklahoma. Linda grew up and attended school in Eakly, graduating from Eakly high school in 1984. She pursued further education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, getting a Bachelor's degree in marketing. In 1995, she married her high school sweetheart, Thomas Oliphant. To this Union were born two sons, Christopher and Tommy Jr. Linda started her career in real estate, eventually opening her own real estate office. She then changed direction and began working as an administrative assistant in the county assessors office. Linda started this career path in Caddo county, before working for the Comanche county up until her death. Linda had a variety of hobbies, even going as far as taking photography classes to hone her skills. Apart from photography, Linda enjoyed sewing. Linda also cherished every moment she could with her grandchildren, her grandchildren giving her much comfort at the end of her life. Linda Oliphant will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.
