Linda Geraldine Lane

Linda Geraldine Lane was born June 11, 1946 to G.W. and Martha (Hines) Strutton. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 28, 2021. She graduated from Cordell High School in 1964. Linda attended Southwestern State University. She waited tables at many restaurants in Cordell, she worked as a dispatcher for MODA at the Clinton Sherman Air Force Base, Linda also worked at Kelwoods and the Robertson Curtain Factory for many years. She finally retired after working in the Home Health Care field. Linda had two daughters, Tana and Shon. She married Clyde Lane October 15, 2011. She enjoyed her girls, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Linda loved spending time with her brothers, Monte and Floyd. She enjoyed her long talks with her sister, Theresa. Linda loved getting together to play cards and games with "the sisters," Gladys, Angie, Sarah, Blanche, Hilma and Alice. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and went to church every time she was able, she enjoyed listening and singing old gospel hymns. Linda was an avid reader, she also enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and playing games online. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Monte King.

Great-grandchildren: Kaedan, Knox, Ruger, Oakley, Alex, Riley, Trigger, Paysley and Maverick.
Brother: Floyd King & wife Merle
