Rev. Lillith Luella Winkler Ardhuerumly was born on October 12th, 1933 in Tishomingo, OK to Marion O. and Billie (Mires) Winkler. She went to her Heavenly Reward on September 5th, 2010 at her home in Lawton, OK after a lengthy battle with cancer. Luella and her husband, Dr. Ihsan Ardhuerumly, celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on November 23rd, 2007.

Together, Luella and Ihsan were blessed with 5 children:

Michael Ardhuerumly and his wife, Beth of Churubusco, IN
Jeffrey Ardhuerumly and his wife, Robbie of Allen, TX
Rev. Namiqa Ardhuerumly Shipmen and her husband, Walter, Big Spring, TX
Staton Ardhuerumly of Amarillo, TX
Luella was also blessed with 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren as well as 1 Godson, Derrick Francis of Amarillo, TX and a son of her heart, Steve Maul of Atlanta, GA, several sons and daughters by affection and a host of other loving family members and friends across the country and around the world.
After a lifetime of dedicated Christian Service as a Lay Person, which included serving as secretary of the Hobart Methodist Church during the tenure of Rev. Graham Hodge, Luella answered the Call to preach. After completing her education at Perkins School of Theology, Luella served the United Methodist Churches in Rochester, New York and throughout the Northwest Texas Conference. After her retirement from active ministry, Luella and Ihsan moved back to her childhood home of Roosevelt, OK where they lived until moving to Lawton in order to be closer to the medical facilities she needed.
Luella will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Billie Winkler and by an infant daughter, Robin Elizabeth.
