Leta Mae Smith, 73, of Newalla, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at home with her children by her side on February 17, 2022. She was born on May 9, 1948 to Marvin and Flossie (Mealler) McFall in Rising Star, Texas. She grew up and attended school in Hobart and later received her GED. She went on to college and received her bachelors degree in elementary education. On November 23, 1963 she married the love of her life Julian Smith and they were happily married for 44 years. Leta enjoyed going to the casino, taking care of her plants, and most of all she loved her dog, Lil Bit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
