Leta B Briggs

Leta Briggs, 92, formerly of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, May 26th, 2018 in Altus, OK. She was born to C.G. and Nell G. Forister in Hobart, OK and had lived in Kiowa County since childhood. She married Vybert L. Briggs July 26, 1945 and he preceded her in death January 9, 1974, Leta had worked at the Ben Franklin Store and T.G. & Y during the 1950's, She had also helped out the County Election Board from late l970's and 1980's. Leta was a life long member of the First Baptist Church in Hobart, OK, being baptized at age 17. She was also a member of the Tops Club.

7 great-grandchildren
2 great-great grandchildren
Brother: Donnie Forister of Chandler, AZ
Sister: Nelda Lile & husband Billy of Roosevelt, OK

She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, 1 brother, 2 Sisters and her parents.
