Lerah Evelyn Hackney

Lerah E. Hackney,79, former resident of Roosevelt, OK passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013, in Springtown, Texas. She was born on November 13, 1933, to James and Agnes (Houk) Farris in Fort Worth, Texas. Lerah married Joe Hackney on April 27, 1957, in Weatherford, Texas. She was a member of the Springtown Baptist Temple in Springtown, Texas.

She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Smith, Springtown, Texas
two granddaughters, Tracey Loraus and Denise Cadwallader, Springtown, Texas
one grandson, George J. Smith, Springtown, Texas
seven great-grandchildren
local relatives are: brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ray and Martha Hackney, Hobart, OK
Mervyn Hackney, Oklahoma City, OK


She was preceded in death by, her parents, husband Joe Hackney (2004), one brother J.W. Farris, and two sisters Kathryn Taylor and Elrita Davis.
