Leonard "Puz" McKinney, Sr.. 69, of Carnegie, OK, passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, Oklahoma City, OK. He was born February 26th, 1945 to Dan and Leta Mae (Tsotaddle) McKinney, Sr. in Fort Cobb, OK. He attended school in Manhattan, KS. Leonard was a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma and also a descendant of the Potawatomi Tribe and the Apache Tribe. Leonard was a cook and a great baker. He worked for Oleta Restaurant North of town in Carnegie, and also for Farmers Restaurant in Carnegie. He also did some farm work.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Stephanie McKinney, grandson, Dakota McKinney, maternal grandparents, Margaret and Robert Tsotaddle, paternal grandparents, Gladys and Jim Smokey McKinney.
