Leonard Gene Parker

Leonard Eugene "Gene" Parker, 82, of Sentinel, Oklahoma passed from this life Thursday, October 19, 2023 in the Wilkins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Duncan, Oklahoma.

Gene was born December 29, 1940 in Butler, Oklahoma the son of Leonard Gilbert and Gladys (Dunn) Parker. He graduated from Butler High School in 1959 and received his Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Arts and Education from the Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He and Peggy Kirby were married at Sentinel, Oklahoma on August 17, 1960. He was a farmer and rancher. He was a longtime member of the Sentinel First Baptist Church. He was always active working on the farm and loved helping anyone who needed it. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Kay Parker Branson.

Lincoln Parker and wife Jessica, Rocky, OK
Quinten Parker and wife Janee, Cenerton, AR
Ethan Parker, Ozark, AR
Great grandchildren: Amelia Parker, Kamdin Jones, Travis Jones, Brighton Parker Brother: Johnny Parker and his wife Janice, Butler, OK
Also several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
