Lenard Lee Radford

On the morning of August 11, 2015, Lenard Radford passed away peacefully of natural causes at the Carnegie Hospital. Lenard was 81 years old.

Lenard was born April 10, 1934 to Asbury and Homa (Jump) Radford of Eakly, OK. He was one of 12 children. In 1957 Lenard joined the military. Upon leaving, Lenard married Ruby Latham. After sometime of living between Texas and Oklahoma, they decided to make Swan Lake their home from 1985-2007 and rehomed in Eakly, OK. Lenard spent his time farming. He most enjoyed spending time with his family.

Lenard was preceded in death by his parents, Asbury and Homa Radford and 6 siblings. Leo Radford, Neal Radford, Willie Radford, Sam Radford, Gene Radford and Margie Radford Morris. One granddaughter, Heather Hume.

Lenard is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruby Radford of the home.
Daughter, Debra Hume of Citrus Heights, CA.
Son, Terry Radford and fiance Norma Gloria of Pauls Valley, OK.
Grandsons, Timmy Radford, Landon Radford, and Quinton Radford
Granddaughters, Tara Radford, Jessica Radford, Tiffany Radford and Kymbyrlee Whorton
10 great grandchildren.
Brother, Joe Radford and wife Annette of Laverne, OK.
Sisters Mildred Smith of Duncan, OK. and Pat Radford of Duncan, Dorothy Stowers of Bovina, TX. and Betty Radford of Dimmitt, TX
and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2015, at the Swan Lake Baptist Church with Brother Jack Woolard officiating. Burial will follow at the Eakly Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home in Carnegie.
