Lena Faye Campbell

Lena Faye Riley Campbell and her twin brother, James Ray Riley, were born on July 13, 1936, in Cooperton, Oklahoma, to Jewell and Verdis Riley. Lena passed from this earth on June 19, 2018, in Woodbridge, Virginia. Lena was the valedictorian of Cooperton Valley High School in 1954, and went on to attend Cameron College. Lena married Gerald (Jerry) Campbell on July 13, 1958. Lena and Jerry lived in London, where their daughter Deborah was born. They then returned to Oklahoma, where their son Mark was born. The family then lived in Thailand before moving to Virginia. Lena was a homemaker who was raised in the First Christian faith. Her sole focus in life was that of her immediate and extended family. Until her health began failing, Lena was the family caretaker who always wanted to be involved in helping others.

Lena is survived by her husband of sixty years, Jerry Campbell, of Virginia; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Tom Milton, of Virginia; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Mona Campbell, of Durant; and grandchildren, Katie Campbell, of Oklahoma City, and Carson Campbell, of Fort Worth, Texas. Lena is also survived by brother and sister-in-law James and Alice Faye Riley, of Durant; brother and sister-in-law Donnie and Liz Riley, of Elk City; brother Lonnie Riley of Cooperton; and sister-in-law Tommie Riley, of Hobart. Additionally, Lena is survived by her nieces and nephews, Melody, Kim, Eddie, Sharon, Waylon, Stephanie, Dana and Jodie. Lena was predeceased by her parents, Jewell and Verdis Riley; sister, Miss Jayne Riley; and brother, Larry Riley.
