Larry Null, 87, of Hobart, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2024. He was born on February 11, 1936, to Stuart Lymon and Zelma Pearl (Hayes) Null in Hobart, Oklahoma. Larry grew up and attended school in Hobart, graduating from Hobart High School in 1954. He then attended Oklahoma State University, graduating in 1958 with a degree in agricultural economics. After graduation Larry served in the United States Air Force for two years. In 1960, he returned to Hobart to take over the family farm.
Larry married the love of his life, Carroll Noske, on March 29, 1958, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. To this union were born two sons, Thomas Hayes and William Scott.
Larry served as president of the Kiowa County OSU Alumni Association. He was a member of the Oklahoma Crop Improvement Association where he served on the board of directors for over 12 years. In 1993, Larry was awarded Farm Family of the Year for Kiowa County. But the award he was most proud of receiving, was in 2005 where he was awarded the Master Agronomist Award for OSU's department of Plant and Soil Sciences. This was an honor his father had received as well.
Larry was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hobart. He loved to farm and served as a mentor to farmers in the area. He worked to educate himself on new farming practices in order to implement them into his farming operation. Larry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Brother-in-law: Jim Scott, North Carolina
