Lawrence Wayne Anderson

Lawrence Wayne Anderson, 93, of Roosevelt, Oklahoma passed away peacefully with his family by his side at home on January 11, 2023. He was born on June 7, 1929 to Hunter W. and Bulah E. (Whittington) Anderson in Monett, Missouri. Lawrence grew up and attended school in Monett and graduated from Monett High School. He did attend college for a short time. Lawrence enlisted in the United States Navy and served two tours. He worked for the railroad as a machinist, he also worked as a TV repairman. Lawrence owned and operated his own business. He owned a resort on Lake Texoma and the marina on Lake Waurika. Lawrence and Loretta enjoyed traveling after retiring, traveling to all fifty states. He was an avid fisherman. Lawrence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his family.

Grandchildren: John & wife Tammy, C.W. & wife Dhora, Jimmy & wife Christy and Eric
Great Grandchildren: Alex, Christopher, Chris, Tristan, and Tracy & husband Adam
Great- Great Grandchild: Oden and Maria


Preceded in death by his Son: Terry Anderson, Parents: Hunter & Bulah Anderson, 1 sister and 2 Brothers.
