Lavena Jo Horse, 64, of Carnegie, Oklahoma passed away peacefully in her home on October 12, 2022. Lavena was born to Billy and Dorita Horse on November 1, 1957, in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Kiowa Tribe. She was the fourth oldest of eleven siblings. She attended Fort Sill Indian School graduating in 1975. Lavena worked as an in-home caregiver for many elderly patients while living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and came back to Carnegie, Oklahoma to help take care of her father in his last days on this earth. She remained in Carnegie until her passing. Lavena will be missed dearly by those who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Billy and Dorita Horse, Grandson Kemper Shropshire, Siblings William Evans Horse, Mary Jane Montgomery, and Helen Horse.
