Laura E. Brown, 70, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, April 8th, 2016 at home. She was born January 4th, 1946 to Bill and Ruby (Kelley) Huffman in Hobart, Oklahoma. She spent majority of her life in Hobart and graduated from Hobart High School. She went on to work as a housekeeper supervisor.
She is survived by her cousin. Glenda Roberts of California

She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Patsy Hackney and brother-in-law, Gerald Hackney and two nephews, Larry and Randall Hackney and niece, Theresa Hackney..
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home Chapel in Hobart, Oklahoma under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home. Chaplain Johnny Hess will be officiating. Interment of the ashes will follow at Roosevelt Cemetery.
