Larry G. James Sr. better known as "Jesse James" was called to his Heavenly home on August 20, 2014. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at home.
Larry was born November 14, 1945 to Charles and Ruby (Taylor) James in Hobart, OK. Larry started life off rough; he was a very ill little boy, but as a result of his parents' faithful prayers and devotion he was healed. Larry was welcomed to Heaven by his parents, Charles and Ruby James and his brother, Don James. He grew up in Bethany and graduated from Putman City High School in 1964. Larry was in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He married Shirley Jarnagin and they had three children: Larry and wife Monica of Hobart, OK, Rusty and wife Anne of Helena, MT, and a daughter Cheree` and husband Gary Russell of Yukon, OK. In his early career, Larry worked different jobs before ending up in Great Falls, MT as the New Car Sales manager for his brother Don.
Larry moved to Hobart, Oklahoma in 2004 so he could take care of his mom Ruby and step-father Bud. He went to work for Wal-Mart before opening DJ's Auto Plaza in 2009.
Larry had ten grandchildren of which he was very proud: Baylee, Jessica, Ally, Jesse, Zach, Christopher, Ty, Kelsi, Kodi and Kaci.
Larry lived life on his own terms with no regrets. He will be greatly missed and will be in the hearts and minds of his family and friends forever.

Ray & Martha's Funeral Chapel, Hobart, OK
Burial will follow at Hobart Rose Cemetery, Hobart, OK, under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart.
Family will greet friends at the Funeral Home 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2014.
