L. B. Adams passed away on February 16, 2016, in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born on April 4, 1924 in Cooperton, OK to Luther Bert & Mary Adams. He grew up & went to school in Cooperton Valley. L.B. served in the Army in World War II, stationed in the Phillipines. He married Dorothy Davis on August 7, 1945. After getting out of the Army, the couple lived in the Guymon, OK & Hobart, OK. The family moved to Lawton in the 1950's where L.B. worked at Ft. Sill in the Transportation Motorpool Division. The couple became the proud parents of 3 sons & were members of the Northside Baptist Church. After retiring in 1977, the couple enjoyed traveling, camping, & spending time at the lake with family & friends. The past 25 years the couple lived in Oklahoma City close to family.

Survivors include his 2 sons Glen A. Adams & Gloria Jessup of Tuttle, OK,
Danny & Judy Adams of Claremore, OK
5 grandchildren
9 great-grandchildren
3 great-great grandchildren
Brother Glen E. Adams of Kansas City, KS
along with multiple nieces, nephews & extended family.

L.B. is preceded in death by his parents, Luther Bert & Mary Adams, wife Dorothy, son Gaylon, 2 brother James & Carl Adams, 3 sisters Ethel Slaughter, Jewel Parr & Viola Lingren.
