Kimberly Kaye Ross

September 9, 1959 — November 8, 2012

Kimberly Kaye (Kelly) Ross, 53 of Warr Acres, was born September 9, 1959, in Carnegie, to Daniel Lynwood (Buck) Kelly and Oweda Mae Terry. She was peacefully called home by the Lord on Thursday November 8, 2012.
Kim grew up in the Carnegie area and attended Carnegie Schools graduating with the class of 1977. She actively participated in school sporting activities and was voted best smile and best dancer. She was very popular in school and was voted prom queen. She also left her own special touch on the Kelly Peanut Company by working there but more importantly she was proud of the family heritage, that was and remains well known and respected in the Carnegie area. After graduation from high school she continued her formal education and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. This was a very natural course for Kim because she was always very caring and loving. She worked in several medical facilities in Southwest Oklahoma and Oklahoma City.
In 1991 she and Guy Ross were married. They were everything to one another and lived a very simple life style looking forward to their times together. They enjoyed watching movies, watching the horses run. They enjoyed eating out (generally Red Lobster, Pearls and Zio's). They always looked forward to these times.
She enjoyed collecting Precious Moments Figurines and took a lot of pride in making porcelain dolls, a hobby she learned from her grandma Kelly.
Preceding her in death were her father Buck Kelly, her brothers Daniel (Danny) Lynwood Kelly, Jr. and Todd Albert Kelly.
Survivors include her husband, Guy of the home. Her son Joshua Wayne Davis and wife Ronna Kay and her daughter, Maegen Marie Davis, all of Weatherford. Her mother Oweda Terry and Stepfather Wayne of Anson, TX and special nephew Tanner Kelly and wife Jana and special niece Kandice Kelly of Carnegie. She also has several brothers and sisters-in-law and many other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Monday November 12, 2012 at the Carnegie Church of the Nazarene with Pastors Jerry Tate and Chip Perkins officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.steversonfunerhome.com
