Kimberly Ann Kinder

August 25, 1968 — June 22, 2022

Kimberly "Kim" Ann Kinder was born August 25, 1968, to Wayne and Judy (Chenoweth) Patterson in Anadarko, Oklahoma. She was raised on the family farm east of Carnegie and attended Carnegie Public Schools, a graduate of the class of 1986. Kim graduated from Aladdin Beauty College in 1987 becoming a licensed cosmetologist and later returned to Southwestern Oklahoma State University to earn an associate's degree in Business.

Kim was united in marriage to Brent Kinder on March 11, 1989. To this union 2 children were born, Jake Allan Kinder on October 2, 1993, and Luke Anthony Kinder on March 14, 1997. Kim was a wonderful wife to Brent and an absolute amazing mother to her boys. She was always their biggest fans and never missed anything they were involved in. She was also so very proud of her bonus daughters she gained through the marriages of the boys.

She was a dedicated employee of Teal Insurance working 33 years serving her community and surrounding areas. Kim was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carnegie, Oklahoma.
Present is a word that could define Kim. She was the kind of wife, mom, daughter, sister, employee, and friend that everyone knew they could count on.

She loved spending time outdoors with her family and friends whether it was riding side-by-sides, fishing at the pond, or a ride in her convertible on a beautiful day. Meeting Kim for the first time was an instant friendship. She loved people and having a good time. Brent was her best friend in life, and she loved doing anything if it meant being by his side. A simple ride to the farm to check cattle with Brent and hand feed the babies was one of her favorite pastimes. She was an avid OU sports fan, especially enjoying watching OU girls' softball. She loved a simple life filled with family and friends.

Kim was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Elmo and Oleta Patterson of Carnegie, OK, maternal grandparents, Roy and Mildred Chenoweth of Hinton, OK, and father, Wayne Patterson of Carnegie, OK.

Kim is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Brent of the home, sons, Jake and wife Kaila and Luke and wife Malorie. Grand-dogs Minnie, Belle, Wrigley, and Oakley.
