Kim Ray Stephens, 61, of Denver, Colorado, passed away November 18, 2014 at his home in Mead, OK, surrounded by his loving family. Kim was born on January 2,1953 in Clovis, New Mexico to Harold Gene and Nelda Rhea (Kimray) Stephens.
Kim received his Bachelors in Communication from University of Colorado, Boulder, CO. Kim and Janet united in marriage on July 16,2014 in Caddo,OK. Kim was a rancher, farmer, and a member of Victory Life Church in Atoka, OK. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, training English Pointers, gardening, canning, hunting birds, and trap shooting. Kim survived by his wife, Janet E Stephens; his daughter, Rebecca Stephens and spouse Paul Sullivan of Broomfield, CO; mother, Nelda Gfell of OK; siblings, Regina Anderson, Chris Gfell, Lemer Gfell, Kathy Rogers, Michael Stephens, Michelle Stephens, David Stephens, Stephens Falkner, Charles Falkner, Gisela Stephens, Octavia Thompson; and grandmother Octavia Johnson of Hobart, Oklahoma; numerous other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Stephens and his stepfather, Gil Gfell.
Graveside Memorial: 10:30 am, Saturday, March 28,2015 at Rose Cemetery in Hobart, Oklahoma.
